Review and More Tips
While all the visitors flock to Niagara Falls, head away from that attraction to find something wildly fascinating and take it in without a tourist in sight. Ironically, you will be visiting where the falls were 7,500 years ago.
The trail down to the whirlpool is rigorous, wearing boots with ankle support would be wise. Photos of the trail are included below. If the main trail is too much, there are several other options for viewing the whirlpool from higher above or longer, but less treacherous trails, as you move down closer to the water.
If you are like me, just be careful when climbing ever-closer to the amazing rushing waters. These aren’t waters you can fall in and get out of safely. Please use caution so that you can keep being an adventurer for a long time to come.
