We have visited this gorgeous place three times and compiled a list of 15 great things to do in Miramar Beach to make your vacation unforgettable as well.

Our Top Tip: Especially if you visit with kids, getting a golf cart helped us so much for every activity! We never even moved our car once except to the grocery store. Plus, it was nice to ride around during the evening. We used Electric Beach Car Rentals in Miramar Beach (they have five stars on Google).

  • Tip: Bring your own umbrella and chairs; renting those will cost around $50 daily. While some complexes don’t permit you to set up your own chair, it’s allowed on public beaches and many visitors do it. The gift shop on the main level at Majestic Sun sells chairs and umbrellas and Alvin’s Island has them too.

  • Sunset Bay Cafe: Excellent food and amazing view. Don’t miss this gem. We had shrimp & grits and breakfast potatoes
  • Ruby Slipper Cafe: Such a great place in Baytowne Wharf. The best BBQ shrimp and grits ever.
  • Donut Hole: Excellent service and breakfast from out of this world! Chicken and waffles… our favorite!
  • Maple Street Biscuit: Just delicious! Great service and extremely friendly.  You order and pay; then you find a seat. They call your name when your order is ready.
