Weber House and Garden is not your average house and garden tour. While it is sure to delight anyone seeking a proper tour of a two-acre, English Arts and Crafts garden and storybook Tudor cottage, there is more history and humor intertwined than you’d guess.
The house tour is given by its owner, Mr. Ted Weber, a long-time Chicago radio and television personality. His stories of Eleanor Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Richard Nixon will captivate you. Within the walls of the cottage, you will learn of the unusual and prestigious guests that once stayed at this enchanting property. Quirky, elegant, and off-the-beaten path.
Tickets are $10 a person, cash or check only. Allow for nearly two hours to complete the tour. The site is not handicap accessible to wheelchair users, but there are places to sit if needed throughout the tour.
