La Cinta Beach

When Is the Best Time

La Cinta Beach is very crowded! The best time is in the morning. Try to be there as early as possible or later in the evening for a walk. Crowds are even worse in the high season.

One of the most beautiful beaches. Breathtaking view, crystal clear water, incredibly white sand. Also great for snorkeling if you swim further out.

Review and More Tips

La Cinta Beach has white sand, turquoise water, and the scents that you can smell directly on the beach: the juniper, the sea lily, and the Italian strawflower decorate the dunes. The surrounding landscape has remained untouched despite being visited by many tourists every year.

For those who stay in the center of San Teodoro, La Cinta is within walking distance, ideal for a swim, for a walk along the seafront (about 5 km long)

Facilities: There is a tourist information office, useful when planning your route in the area, a kiosk for a tasty break, rental of boats, sunbeds, and umbrellas, parking for those arriving by car.

If you want to see the pink flamingos up close, this is your chance to spot these and other beautiful animals that inhabit the large lagoon behind the beach, and it is truly easy to meet them.

Additional Crowd Tip: Those who prefer to go to the beach when there is less activity can walk a while and get away from busier spots, since the beach is very large.

How to Get There: Getting to La Cinta by car is easy: from Olbia, you must take the state road SS 125 direction San Teodoro – Olbia, follow it for 23.8 km and at the crossroads of the main entrance turn left into the town of San Teodoro. After 850 meters there is a bridge, and you must immediately turn left and then continue for another 1.3 km until you reach the parking lot of the beach.
