As Las Vegas is located in the Mojave Desert, Nevada, expect to receive high temperatures during June, and slightly cooler evenings and mornings, once the sun has set or not risen yet.
The weather during June in Las Vegas is hot and sunny. The daily average maximum temperatures increase throughout the month ranging from 94ยฐF (34ยฐC) to 103ยฐF (39ยฐC). The humidity is low and it rarely rains with an average of 0.1 inches.
Average high temperatures during June:
- Early June: 94ยฐF (34ยฐC)
- Mid-June: 98ยฐF (37ยฐC)
- Late June: 103ยฐF (39ยฐC)
๐ก Temperatures at the beginning of June are considerably cooler than later in June. If you do not enjoy the heat should we suggest visiting during early June to avoid the high temperatures.
Expect a constant supply of sunshine during June, with average high temperatures of around 99ยฐF(38ยฐC). There is no rain expected and little to no breeze so gets quite dry during the day.

While the weather is void of humidity and stickiness, wearing tight denim will still feel like itโs suffocating your skin in the dry heat.

Especially because it will be very hot, dressing comfortably is always better than dressing to impress but suffering from a heatstroke. You can likely style your walking sneakers with shorts and any T-shirt or tank top.
Tip: If you plan to wear high heels in the evening, bring a thick pair of socks in your bag. Since you likely wonโt have a pair of sandals in your clutch for your dinner outfit, this will give your feet a break and keep you from walking around the Vegas streets or casinos barefoot.

Even though it will protect your skin, it might not be comfortable to wear long sleeves in the heat. At the very least, keep a hat and sunglasses on and wear plenty of sunscreen.

If youโre really in a pinch, you can buy some at a nearby shop, but Iโd be wary of overcharging and just remember to pack more than one!
Lotion, lotion, lotion: Even though youโll be sweating, the dry air will still suck all the moisture from your skin. Keep lotion in your bag and put on as much as you can, especially after a day of sweating or swimming in your hotel pool.
I donโt have particularly dry skin, but the Vegas weather always dries out my hands no matter what I do in the summer and winter. If you donโt like the feeling of lotion or donโt want to apply it during the day, invest in a thick cream to put on your skin at night to let it absorb some moisture.
Stay in the shade: Bring a small portable umbrella with you whether youโre lounging by the pool or walking down the Strip! Even with sunscreen and a hat, I always feel like the summer sun in Las Vegas is going to bake my skin off.
