The Somme Estuary is a 17.000 ha Ramsar Site and Special Protection Area for Birds. There is a Parc Ornitologique du Marquenterre, a part of the Nature Reserve of the Somme with a mosaic of semi-natural habitats. The best way to visit the general Bay of the Somme area is by bike.
